Frequently asked questions

What is considered a “message”?

Each time a user messages your bot, this counts as one message.  Likewise, each time your bot messages or replies to an end-user, this counts as one message.

If a user says “Hi Bot!” and the bot says “Hello Human!” in response, this is two messages.

Do you offer engineering support and development services for enterprise clients?

Why are SMS (text messaging) bots billed separately?

In addition to your platform access subscription, facilitating SMS (text messaging) has inherent telecom costs associated with it.  SMS phone numbers are $2 per month, and each message sent/received is $0.01. For MMS (picture and video messages), the cost is $0.02 per message.

We passthrough our telecom charges to customers at-cost.

Can I adjust my plan as my needs change?

Yes.  At any time you may upgrade or downgrade your plan to fit your present messaging needs.  Plan changes are billed or credited on a pro-rated basis depending on when your current billing cycle started.
